It is a fps/fpsw. So you will be fighting in a first person perspective. Using guns or swords. Guns would range from rifles, pistols, sub machine guns, fully atomic. Swords would range from heavy, light balance, twin sided, energy based plasma the list goes on. How combat will work. You can swing your sword or shoot your gun. You know how a gun works you aim and shoot. With a sword you must swing it the right high and speed as well as timing. You would be able to fight someone with a sword when the another has a gun. You would be able to free run which helps on combat.
Example. You are fighting someone with swords . You can run off to a better fighting spot like the top of a roof or back flip off a wall as your enemy run after you giving you an edge on them.
You can deflect gun shots with your blade. All these things. Would be possible.,
